Michel Boisvert – Shards of Soul on Canvas
Some visitors, over the years, become more than just guests. Michel Boisvert is one of them. Every summer, he returns to Le Refuge du Poète, faithful to the annual pétanque festival on Saint-Charles Street.
It was only recently that we discovered Michel is also an artist. A wonderful surprise: his vibrant-colored works immediately moved us. They remind us of the luminous landscapes of Baie-Saint-Paul, with that same intensity and inner breath.
Self-taught and passionate, Michel paints as naturally as one breathes: with depth, ease, and energy. It is a privilege for us to count him among the artists we have encountered along our journey.

Enrico Fossati – Moments Suspended in Milan
During his stay at Le Refuge du Poète, Enrico Fossati, a quiet yet remarkably talented painter, left a lasting impression. Originally from Milan, he leads a double life: graphic designer by day to make a living, painter by night, driven by insomnia and inspiration.
Humble, kind, and a perfectionist, Enrico patiently works on each canvas for months—sometimes up to nine—carefully refining every detail. Nothing is left to chance in his dreamlike landscapes: every light, every alley, every small building has its own soul. His art evokes a gentle nostalgia, suspended between dream and reality, inviting quiet contemplation.
